Author's Notes
Most of these stories come from some combination of dreams, imagination, and real-life situations I have experienced. The TG portion is all dreams or imagination, but real-life has provided a wealth of situations in which to set my imaginative tales.
I keep a 'story notebook' on a computer disk, which contains a one-line or two-line description of a story idea. When I get time, I try first to flesh this description into an 8 to 10-line story outline, which in turn becomes a working story draft. I've been adding about 3 or 4 story ideas every month,
which means that some of them will never see the light of day due to time constraints. Someday, perhaps, I'll post the story notebook.
I have tried to create some memorable characters and settings for others to use as they see fit. (Of course, we all can dream of creating as popular a universe as Spells R Us!) Some of the memorable ones are listed below, with the stories they appear in.
- Mr. Rourke. What else can be said? This is the same Mr. Rourke of the old Fantasy Island series. He uses a gender-bending potion to give his patrons the fantasies they wanted - even if they didn't know that they wanted them! And in all cases, the character learns about him or herself from the experience!
So far, he's appeared in Fantasy Island and Fantasy Island - Anniversary Present. I have two more story ideas about Fantasy Island - if I ever get the time!
- Madam Zelda. Madam Zelda is a curious old Gypsy woman who runs a curio shop with her daughter Nikki. She is always ready to 'help' or 'punish' someone with a gender bending experience.
She has appeared in The Fraternity Drag Ball, The Reverse Curse and You Can't Go Back. Again, I have more ideas for Madam Zelda, including a partially-written story.
- Katie and Jeanette. These two teen-age witches are freshman at a university, and members of the Mu Phi sorority. The sorority sisters know that Katie and Jeanette are witches, and they also know that Katie and Jeanette have pledged not to use their magic unless absolutely necessary. Their inexperience has led
to some troubles as they don't fully understand the powers that they possess.
The two have appeared in Sorority Rush, The Consequences of Date Rape, and Date Rape Aftermath. Someday, I'll get to more stories about the two girls.
- Bikini Beach. This isn't a person, per se, but rather a new water park which caters to young ladies. In this park, all patrons end up wearing bikinis as girls through the magic of the owner, a mysterious 'old lady'. So far, I've written:
Bikini Beach, Bikini Beach - Initiation Rite, Bikini Beach - Gate Crashers, and Bikini Beach - Understanding a Girlfriend.
The good news is that I have at least ten more Bikini Beach story ideas in my story 'notebook'.
